The Prosperity Show Podcast (general)

This is the time of year that doesn’t feel “normal”. There are a lot of distractions and things happening that are not our usual activities. So, during the next few weeks, use the time to take a look and see if there’s something you want to change as we go into the new year.

Highlights

  • Tap into the energy of change and decide who you want to become.
  • We often need to share ideas and get feedback from other people. Other people can often see a bigger picture than we do.
  • No one person has all of the answers for you.
  • It’s really important for you to know and understand your Self.
  • Who do you want to be in the next segment of your life and how can you make that happen?
  • The energy of change, which is happening now, presents us with many opportunities.
  • How are you going to adapt to the energy of change and what help do you need to make it happen?
  • We are wired to need connection to other people.
  • If you learn to have better relationships with humans, you are going to have a better life.
  • What does prosperous living mean for you?
  • Happiness comes from satisfaction within you, not from money.
  • You have choices, and if you don’t like what your life is like now, you can make changes.

  • When the heart aches, people often turn to distractions. By focusing on success on the outside, we are trying to fix the hurt that is on the inside.
  • If you feel restless, you don’t have to do something, you need to sit still.

My guest today is author and CEO, Marty Strong. Marty spent twenty years in the Navy’s elite SEAL Teams learning effective leadership skills and mastering the art of turning vision into actionable strategy. Marty’s new book, Be Nimble, is set for release in Fall 2021.

Highlights

  • Marty shares how he decided to become a Navy SEAL and what’s behind the people who don’t make it through the training.
  • We talk about the 80-20 rule regarding success with the SEALs and for entrepreneurs.
  • You can teach tenacity, but you have to know how to teach it.
  • Being exposed to risk-taking as a child helps prepare you for being an entrepreneur.
  • Serial entrepreneurs often use failures as a strengthening exercise.
  • I asked Marty what drove him to be in the financial industry. It wasn’t planned.
  • Marty has the ability to go with the flow of life and not resist change.
  • Marty was not afraid of failure and over time, became a good problem solver.
  • Because of his family background, at an early age, Marty realized that he had to learn how to take care of himself.
  • We discussed whether qualities of strength and resilience are inborn and the person.
  • There are different ways of handling different forms of failure. Marty often looks at seeming failure as an opportunity to make changes.
  • When he was writing his book, Be Nimble, Marty asked himself the question, “Why am I the person to write this book?”
  • We talk about how people react to financial issues, including up and down income.
  • Most things in our evolution aren’t linear. There are always ups and downs. Marty tells how the lives of presidents Grant and Truman illustrate this principle.
  • I asked Marty if he was born with the name Strong. He was.

Herb “Flight Time” Lang is an 18-year former player and coach with the World-Famous Harlem Globetrotters who is now a speaker, entrepreneur, motivator, and author. Throughout his travels, to nearly 90 countries with the Globetrotters, some of Herb’s most memorable moments include meeting Pope Francis, President Obama, and appearing on numerous national television commercials and reality TV shows—most notably CBS’s “The Amazing Race.”

He currently resides in Sacramento, California, where he is the proud father of two, and continues to make a difference through kindness and his life experiences, which he believes are the keys to maximizing what we get out of life. He is a true believer in that we are all rich with love and kindness. “Kindness Is Free!”

Highlights

  • Herb tells us how he was surrounded by kindness as a child and how that affected him.
  • He also shared what he went through physically to become one of the Harlem Globtrotters.
  • We talk about how his background taught him how to survive being a celebrity. He said it was important for him to never forget where he came from.
  • Some of the things that have given me the most pain are the things I’ve learned the most from. It taught me resilience.
  • “The feedback I get from others is what keeps me going.”
  • Herb’s positive mindset has inspired others. Being around a bunch of older people is what helped him develop the positive mindset along with his high-school basketball coach.
  • With the work he’s doing now, Herb is trying to teach young people how to develop kindness.
  • Look into a young person’s eyes and feed them all the things that you’ve learned along the way.
  • Things aren’t as bad as you think they are.
  • It takes support for us to achieve our dreams. Reach out to others.
  • I asked him how he deals with “the downs”. Now, he meditates and goes for daily walks. He also takes his mind back to “the kid me” where he had all his dreams.
  • We talk about “the wall” that often surrounds people of wealth and celebrity. Herb doesn’t have that wall.
  • Kindness is within all of us. We just have to let it out.
  • It bothers me when I see people who had a difficult childhood and now they’re doing the same things to their kids. I can only understand it and show them another way.
  • We are all children at heart.
  • The world is not a bad place.
  • My purpose is to do the best I can while I’m here.

This past Sunday, I gave a talk at The Celebration, the spiritual group I belong to and thought you might like to hear it. I’ve been interested in the idea of synchronicity for a long time and I shared some of my thoughts about it in this episode.

If you have stories about your experience with synchronicity, I’d love to hear about them. You can email them to Joan at ProsperityPlace.com.

I recently woke up with the word “truth” sounding loudly in my mind which led me to think about truth – a lot – and how I might talk about it on a podcast episode. Because we have been going through a period of a lot of not truth I’ve been pondering what we miss when we don’t tell the truth. I discuss it in this episode.

Highlights

  • I ask, “Why the advantage of telling the truth or the truth of you?”
  • Years ago, I committed to tell the truth all the time. It is really difficult.
  • People often exaggerate in order to make a better impression, which makes it difficult to tell if they’re telling the truth or not.
  • I talk about all the claims made in commercials that I perceive is not being true.
  • We’re becoming adapted to alternative realities and “alternative truth”.
  • In order to connect to your truth, you have to develop a certain amount of intuition.
  • To develop self-awareness, you need to be able to learn to travel into the depths of yourself.
  • We sometimes think that people who display a lot of self-confidence no more than we do.
  • As children, we often suppressed ourselves because it appeared to be safer.
  • Every time you adjust your truth, you're slowing down the process of finding out who you are becoming.
  • Humans are complicated, and finding our own path is complicated because we have to overcome a lot of the messages we got as children.
  • We tend to not honestly express our emotions.
  • I talk about the nuances that are sometimes necessary when telling the truth.
  • What are the things that you think about but never talk to other people about?
  • What is it that separates you from other people that you never talk about?
  • I talk about my invisible disability and how I have kept it hidden. But I now see that I’m actually holding myself back by doing this.
  • Whatever you are thinking is limiting you may be what you’re identifying as a disability.
  • If you have a physical disability, that’s not something that’s wrong with you, it’s just something you have to deal with.
  • Each of us is separate, unique, and valuable. You can’t understand your value to the greater society, if you’re thinking that you’re less-than.
  • What is it about you that you consider something that holds you back? That would be what you perceive to be your disability. That is the truth of you and your life doesn’t have to be diminished because of it.
  • The truth of you shall set you free.
  • There’s nothing wrong with you that needs fixing. You just have habitual thoughts beliefs and emotions that may need to change. And you can do that.

The new year is soon to be upon us. In this episode, I ask you to decide what choices you want to make in the new year as to who you want to be and what you want to be doing. What changes do you want to make?

Highlights

  • We have no idea what our lives or our world are going to look like in the coming year.
  • There’s going to be a new normal, but we have no idea what normal is going to look like.
  • Covid has given us the opportunity of reevaluating everything in our life. Do we really want to go back to what was, or do we want to create something new that is more satisfying?
  • It’s hard to set goals when you have no idea what the future is going to look like. I suggest that instead of setting doing goals that you set feeling goals.
  • The one thing that you have control over and the power to change is your internal environment.
  • What we are all going through, provides us with the opportunity to ask who we want to be and what we want to change. Change is happening whether you wanted to or not.
  • What is it that you can do to create some certainty for yourself?
  • It is impossible to create specific goals when you have no idea what the external environment is going to be.
  • I’m going to ask you – if you’re willing – to examine your internal environment and decide what choices for change you want to make in the new year.
  • This is the time for choice. You are where you are because of the choices you have made and now you can make different choices that will allow you to move in a different direction.
  • Every choice that you make has an emotional component.
  • We have been given the opportunity, at this juncture in time, to examine our lives and make new choices.
  • What will it take for you to be the best version of yourself today?
  • If we all make changes together, it will affect the entire world.

In this episode, I share my experience going through sepsis, a potentially fatal condition that I obviously survived. The experience has led me to do a lot of thinking about the frailties of our medical system and I share some of my thoughts with you.

Highlights

  • I share the harrowing experience I went through when I thought I had COVID-19, but it turned out I had sepsis.
  • I’ve been thinking a lot about our medical system and its shortcomings and how people make unhealthy decisions for themselves.
  • We haven’t taught people that they have control of their health.
  • Your body is a complex machine that needs certain kinds of fuel. The wrong fuel will cause symptoms.
  • Each body has different needs.
  • We put too much faith in the opinions of medical doctors. It’s important to learn how to communicate with your body.
  • There are good practitioners within the allopathic system who are open and willing to try alternatives. The idea of integrative medicine that combines different systems is what makes sense to me.

Mark Wolynn is the director of the Family Constellation Institute in San Francisco. He is a leading expert in the field of inherited family trauma. His book It Didn’t Start With You: How Inherited Family Trauma Shapes Who We Are and How to End the Cycle (published by Viking/Penguin) is the winner of the 2016 Nautilus Book Award in psychology and has been translated into 19 languages. His articles have appeared in Psychology Today, Mind Body Green, MariaShriver.com, Elephant Journal, and Psych Central, and his poetry has been published in The New Yorker.

Highlights

  • Mark explains what Family Trauma is.
  • When trauma is unresolved it can pass on to future generations.
  • Many of us live with medical mysteries that need deeper examination.
  • Our sense of not having enough can hark back to not getting enough attention from our mother in early life.
  • If the mother has a previous difficult pregnancy or miscarriage, or any difficult life experience during pregnancy, that will affect the child’s experience as a fetus.
  • Instead of blaming your parents because you are, in some way, screwed up, find out what trauma they experienced that allowed them to treat you the way they did.
  • There’s a long list of questions about their parents that Mark asks his clients.
  • Although early memories may not be available to us, they still affect us.
  • By understanding what your parents went through, it makes it easier to forgive your parents. We can then let go of whatever anger we are holding on to.
  • Mark helps people get out of the stress response so they can have new, more pleasant experiences and build new neural pathways while overcoming the stress response.
  • Mark mentions some of the techniques he uses and how he helps people become “trauma detectives”.
  • Trauma in our family history can determine how success does or does not flow to us.
  • Because of Covid, we have the chance to look inside and work through past traumas.
  • What’s your worst fear? It time to look at this.
  • When traumas are not talked about, that’s what leads to repeating the pattern.

David Wood is a high-performance coach for executives, entrepreneurs, and teams and the author of “Get Paid For Who You Are.” He was nominated to the Transformational Leadership Council alongside such thought leaders as Don Miguel Ruiz, John Gray, and Marianne Williamson. David believes the tough conversations we avoid are our doorways to confidence, success, and even love – in both work and life. In this episode, we talk about having tough conversations about money and race.

Highlights:

  • David tells us how he decided to focus on tough conversations when he worked in corporate and eventually learned about things like emotional intelligence and other personal growth techniques.
  • When conversations are looming, we tend to avoid them.
  • With the CARE model David uses, the first step is to ask, “What is your hope for this conversation, what is your fear?”
  • I ask David what keeps people from talking about money. I use an example of when a husband racks of credit card charges but is afraid to tell his wife. He shows us how to use the CARE model in this case.
  • There is often a fear of loss.
  • We spend time talking about difficult conversations about race relations.
  • David shares his position as a privileged white male and what he has to do in order to have the race conversation.
  • It’s only in the past few weeks that David has been developing awareness about what goes on for blacks.
  • David is trying to understand his own whiteness, privilege, and unconscious bias.

I read an article this week in Neuroscience News about how Repetitive Negative Thinking (RNT) can lead to cognitive decline and the buildup of proteins associated with Alzheimer’s. In this episode, I talk about how to eliminate negative self-talk and thinking with brain training in order to prevent loss of cognitive function.

Highlights

  • A lot of physical and mental problems that come with aging can be prevented.
  • Although the study cited in Neuroscience News was done with people 55 and older, no matter what your age, it’s important to prevent problems as you age.
  • Negative thinking patterns are habits. I talk about how they start as protective measures and because of the way brains are wired.
  • Hypervigilance is a common result of difficult childhood experiences.
  • The trick is to recognize your patterns and make a commitment to changing them.
  • Start by recognizing when you use the word should. Then take a deep breath and use a positive statement such as You’re doing fine.
  • Lead with love.
  • You can create a benevolent mother or father in your mind who reparents you.
  • What if what we imagine is going to happen is what is going to happen.
  • Meditation can help you recognize what’s going on in your mind.
  • The more positive my thinking becomes, the more positive things happen for me.
  • If you stop being angry, that doesn’t mean you have to stop working for positive
    societal change.
  • Anger can be transmuted into a positive force.

  • It’s important to understand why you can’t get instant results. Tina explains.
  • Meditation quiets the amygdala and builds new connections to the prefrontal cortex, which helps you make better decisions.

In this episode, I share some of my ideas about how to maintain a positive attitude about the future despite what’s going on. You have choices as to what you’re going to think about and how you’re going to feel.

Highlights

  • You can have empathy for what’s going on and still move forward with your life.
  • Each one of us has the opportunity to say, “Where am I now and where do I want to be in the future?” even though, at this moment, the future is so unknown.
  • The survival skill for today is to learn that you are ok today and you are learning what you need to learn..
  • If you can have a positive view of your future and get out of your fear of the present, you’ll have an easier time finding a pathway forward.
  • The bigger the mountain you have to climb, the more you have to have faith in your ability to get from where you are, to where you want to be.
  • If you can let go of the fear and have a positive view of the future, surviving what we are all going through will be a whole lot easier.
  • Talk to people and exchange ideas.
  • If you want to survive this thing, you have to believe that you can.
  • I feel as if we are in a space between where we are and where we are going.

It’s as if the whole world is turning upside down as we go through this unprecedented period of our lives. It’s important to rise above the fear so you can see the opportunities that abound and take action in a new direction. It’s up to us to create the new normal.

Highlights

  • At a Zoom meeting I had recently, we all agreed that we aren’t going to go back to the old normal.
  • What are you going to do to plan a future without a model to work from?
  • It’s hard to come up with good ideas when you are in fear.
  • There are always ways of thinking outside of the box. There’s a problem if you’re afraid of technology.
  • Your brain is going to tell you that change is dangerous.
  • Think of a positive future. It’s time to let go of the things you really don’t like to do.
  • There are always options.
  • Allow your life to be a little more spontaneous.
  • I talk about the restaurant business and how they might change how they deliver their food.
  • The future is whatever you make it and you have the option of making new choices.
  • You may have to learn new skills.
  • What is a skill that you have that you can do differently while collaborating with other people?
  • During this time, learn something new.
  • This is the winter of the planet when things are dormant.

He is an evolutionary leader who pioneered the 4 Zones of Leadership framework. He uses neuroscience principles to hack leaders’ internal decision-making algorithms to enhance performance. He is highly skilled in emotional intelligence, energetic intelligence, and an expert in the science of intuitive intelligence.

Highlights

  • Steven tells us how he got to the place of believing in the power of our inner reality.
  • The gap between what is and what I think it is can be large.
  • Our collective consciousness can create the apparent reality.
  • Because our outer world is contracting, we now have the opportunity to examine our inner world.
  • Habits are invisible because they have disappeared from our awareness. The trick is to become aware of the habit. Steven explains how to do this.
  • We talk about what is triggering people to buy so much toilet paper.
  • There is an opportunity now to find balance between our inner and outer worlds.
  • Steven explains how to activate parts of you that have become numb.
  • Because families are spending so much time together now, there is opportunity to heal conflicts within family relationships.
  • I ask what can people do to stop focusing on what’s wrong so they can look for opportunities. Steven suggests asking, “What’s the gift in that”.
  • If you watch too much TV now, you can generate fear. If you ask, “What’s the gift in that?”, you can shift to looking at opportunities.
  • Letting go of the fear takes trust. When each of us can trust, it facilitates the evolution of the group.
  • Focusing on getting healthier can counteract some of the fear.
  • By consciously slowing down while doing everything, you will counteract some of the fear.
  • Steven practices radical self-love and creates communication between his internal masculine and feminine.
  • We are the only ones who know what each of us needs.
  • Meditation, walking outside, and nurturing yourself are helpful now. Also, ask yourself, “What’s important for me?”
  • Healthy desire gives us access to our intuitive selves.
  • Steven equates money with the energy of love.
  • We talk about connection and how to create it now.
  • It’s a gift now to open ourselves to receive.

In this episode, I make suggestions for things you can do while you have to wind down and find quiet things to do. It’s a great time to slow down, listen to your inner voice and stop pushing forward.

Your brain is wired to perceive uncertainty as a threat. It’s not. This is your opportunity to assess where you’ve been and mentally move forward towards a more satisfying future.

Today I talk about what’s happening with the coronavirus, how it might affect your business and how you can deal with it from the inside out. I recorded this episode on March 3, so I only had the amount of information that was available on that day. I have a feeling that things are going to get worse by the time this posts on March 6.

I think it’s important to look at the facts and the possibilities and to do our best to rise above the fear that’s being generated.

In this episode I discuss how to overcome your fear and concerns, and focus on taking the action that you can. I also mentioned that during any downturn, people succeed. The trick is to be open and listen to your inner guidance.

Use whatever techniques you know to deal with the possible stress because it is stress that affects your immune system and causes inflammation. I make some suggestions.

In today’s episode I talk about synchronicity, often called meaningful coincidences, plus how to experience more synchronicity and what prevents its occurrence. The main problem is fear and I discuss how to tamp this down.

Highlights

  • I give some examples of synchronicity and my ongoing question of how we can increase synchronicity happening for us.
  • Fear is one of the things that keeps you from experiencing synchronicity because when you are fearful, you are usually making up a story in the future that doesn’t exist.
  • Fear of an immediate danger is different from fear of the future.
  • If you want more of what you want to show up, you need to control your fear.
  • Mindfulness or meditation can help you focus on the present.
  • I share simple meditation techniques for staying focused on the present.
  • People often talk about accepting what’s happening but don’t think about it in terms of our greater reality.
  • I ask if peace on earth is possible within our dualistic reality.
  • In your quiet moment, you can ask if there is something you can do to ameliorate what’s happening.
  • How can you contribute to solutions?
  • By letting go of fear, you can contribute to solutions.
  • Fear blocks creative forces and keeps us in a stagnant place.
  • I also believe that you need to understand how traumatic childhood experiences are affecting your outcomes.
  • You have to make a decision to work through your fear

The feeling of powerless seems to be spreading as it gets harder to get what we want from companies we have to deal with. In this episode, I talk about some experiences I’ve had that you’ll probably relate to and offer suggestions for taking back your personal power.

Highlights

  • The online courses platform I was using changed their pricing model, which would have more than doubled my cost. So I found a better solution that will save me money.
  • You can make decisions that can help you get what you want.
  • If more people make conscious buying decisions, it will affect change.
  • Feeling powerless starts when you are a child.
  • Stop people-pleasing, which only hurts you.
  • If one of us has to be uncomfortable, it doesn’t have to be me. The corollary to this is, “No is a complete sentence.”
  • If you aren’t honest with other people, you can’t be honest with yourself.
  • Do a search for alternatives to whatever software you are using.
  • Examine your options.
  • You don’t have to be stuck with what you have.
  • Value yourself. You really matter.
  • When you feel you have more control over your life, you will feel empowered.
  • If you feel powerless, think back to your childhood to times when you felt powerless.
  • You aren’t a victim. You get to make choices that make you more comfortable.
  • You always have options.
  • When you feel powerless, instead of fighting back, ask yourself how you can be an agent of change.
  • If you make decisions that are right for you, you’ll feel more powerful.

Todd Maddox, Ph.D. has doctorates in Psychology and Neuroscience and studies the brain basis of learning, memory, and performance. He is interested in the interplay between emotion, cognition, and behavior. In this episode, we have an interesting discussion about dopamine, addiction, the money and sex connection, and more.

Highlights

  • Todd tells how he got into the combination of psychology and neuroscience.
  • The answer to every psychological problem lies in the brain.
  • To deal with addiction, willpower is not the answer. Understanding the brain helps.
  • We talk a lot about dopamine and addiction.
  • Behaviors can be influenced by genetics. Behavioral genetics tries to determine the percentage of specific behaviors that can be inherited.
  • Todd explains why recognizing habits is so difficult.
  • We talk about how money and sex are connected.
  • By pairing a memory of when you were satisfied with an experience of dissatisfaction, you can train your brain to have a more positive response.
  • We talk about the neuroscience explanation of the moving stupids.
  • In science, the more you know, the more you don’t know.
  • The more that we learn, the more we’ll be able to understand things, like mysticism, that we don’t understand now.
  • Todd shares his views about Artificial Intelligence and how to make it closer to how the brain works

For years, I’ve seen the connection between money and sex. These are two topics that people think about most, but don’t talk about them. In this episode, I examine this connection as well as the role that both dopamine and emotions play in our relationship with money and sex.

Highlights

  • Both money and sex are about how we use our personal energy to interact with the outside world. It’s all about energy flow.
  • Understanding how your brain works helps you understand why you do what you do and how to make better choices.
  • In our culture – in the US and some other countries – there is a lot of sexual repression and dysfunction.
  • I talk about dopamine and how it motivates us.
  • Dopamine is part of our survival instinct.
  • Anticipating getting more money causes a release of dopamine.
  • I talk about how dopamine and disappointment are connected.
  • Understanding how dopamine works can help you set more realistic expectations and avoid disappointment.
  • Advertisers understand that they have to stimulate your dopamine in order to stimulate your desire for their product.
  • You can learn to tame your dopamine response and make pleasure part of conscious living.

When I ask people what they want to achieve, they often say, “freedom”. Well, freedom is a state of mind. In this episode, I talk about the feeling of freedom and how decisions I have made have led to freedom.

Highlights

  • I talk about when I reached my moment of stillness in August and how I now really feel free.
  • When we understand how our brain works, we can understand why we make the decisions we do.
  • Are you willing to pursue the feeling of freedom? It does take work.
  • What would your life look like if you really feel free?
  • If you feel trapped, you need to recognize the feeling of trapped and related feelings such as longing and disappointment
  • Start by becoming aware of when you feel contracted. Also, recognize what you are thinking about when you feel contracted.
  • You’ll be learning how to transmute the contracted feeling into expansion.
  • You can train your brain and change habits.
  • I talk about impulsive decisions.
  • The goal is to make better business decisions.
  • Are you willing to believe that there’s nothing wrong with you that needs fixing?
  • If it’s hard for you to believe that, let’s find out why.

I recently got a message via Facebook from a woman who has been struggling for a long time to withdraw from sugar. Because I gave up – really gave up – sugar 46 years ago, I know how to sustain what might be called sugar sobriety. I offer some of what I learned along the way.

Highlights

  • Giving up sugar is a lot more complicated than just not eating sugar.
  • Finally, people are realizing that sugar is not healthy.
  • In 1973, I saw a documentary on hypoglycemia and knew immediately that was part of my problem.
  • I talk about how I found out I had hypoglycemia and the doctor who helped me.
  • Most chronic diseases are caused by inflammation. Sugar causes inflammation.
  • I mention a number of the symptoms of hypoglycemia as well as how the endocrine system is affected.
  • Sugar is harder to give up than heroin.
  • You have to make a decision to give up sugar first and then start reading the labels on your food.
  • You have to be off sugar, alcohol, and carbohydrates for quite a while before you can sustain the withdrawal.
  • I list some of the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.

  • He explains how divination works.
  • In the 1980s he figured out how to create divination software based on the I-Ching.
  • In his book, Intuitive Intelligence, Paul helps us understand synchronicity and its relationship with time.
  • How to figure out who you are is part of what he talks about in his book.
  • We talk about what can interfere with intuitive messages, especially fear.
  • You can’t “read between the lines” when there’s a lot of chatter in your brain.
  • Once you decide to notice synchronicity, you will.
  • If you slow down, things will evolve more smoothly.
  • Being visionary is being able to see patterns.
  • We talk about what a society of aware people would look like.
  • Egocentricity keeps us from seeing the deeper meaning of things.
  • To find meaning, you have to come from the heart.
  • Take a risk that can grow you.

It feels like we are in a process of great change, which can lead to a lot of feelings of discomfort because of the uncertainty. This requires that you look at things from a different point of view. What if, everything that is happening really is for our own good?

Highlights

  • The process of moving forward can be uncomfortable. I talk about how you need the stirring up in order to move forward.
  • Are you willing to let go of your attachment to the past?
  • The process is about letting go and building new.
  • There’s an energy of change on the planet. Seeing our connection to everything helps to deal with the change.
  • Santa Fe, where I live, is a peaceful place, so I don’t live in the conflict.
  • It takes time to turn things around.
  • What do you want to be feeling in the next few years? You can decide how you want to feel.
  • Although I don’t know where my life is going, I feel it moving in a positive direction.
  • There needs to be an internal cleansing.
  • The clearing process happens over a period of time.

In today’s episode, I discuss a prosperity principle that people aren’t always aware of. It takes a bit of time to understand, but once you get it, your perception of your problems can change dramatically. This makes it easier to find solutions.

Highlights

  • Here’s the principle: The situation you are in doesn’t cause your emotions, your emotions create the situation.
  • Your emotions are the creative force behind your life stories.
  • Emotions are not inherent in a situation.
  • I use a disappointment habit as an example.
  • I talk about a process for recognizing and altering your habitual feelings.

In this episode, I talk about being a “closet woo” and hiding the thing I love to do best. I wonder what you may be hiding in plain sight that’s keeping you from enjoying your full expression – and the success that can come from being honest about who you are.

Highlights

  • Finding out who we really are and expressing it is one of our life journeys.
  • There’s an evolution of consciousness that happens with each decade.
  • Much of our life is finding out who we are not before we find out who we are.
  • Learn how to enjoy what you’re doing and to not judge it.
  • My goal was to not let my money determine how I feel and not to worry about anything.
  • I talk about the energy adjustments that I’ve been doing for many years and was afraid to talk about with total confidence.
  • I share some stories about things that happened when I did energy adjustments.
  • Why are you still hiding?
  • I talk about my new goal and how I’m going to handle it and changing my old habits.
  • Your cash flow is related to the energy flow through you.
  • Your emotions are the creative force behind your life stories.
  • What about you is hiding in plain sight?
